Thinking of the first half of this year, The time was so fun and full of cheer, The first few days of shivering cold, Wandering on the streets like a bold, First day at ESSCA and the tour of the city, Making friends from every country, Those difficult but amazing names, And the suspense of the escape games, Walking up the hill to Elizabeth tower, And cooking for our Nation’s honour, Morrisons mondays and the ruin nights, Pre-drinks was foremost of the rites, Awesome mates and the birthday bash, Yummy langos and the paprikash, The weekend trips and the break in spring, The lively street and the church bells ring, The castle, bridge and beautiful river, And the wonderful fair of the easter, The city’s lovely weather sunny, And those incredible moments funny, I feel those lovely days were best, I miss that place called Budapest. - Tanmayi Oak
